Recently created in the south of the island of Phuket, The Aspasia is a stylish boutique resort reflecting an unusual retro-deco design with hints of Mayan style architecture. The muted yellow and green hues of the buildings blend exotically with the colours of the lush forest that sweeps down to Kata Beach. Each secluded apartment has stunning sea views, and guests only have a two minute walk to the white, sandy beach below

The smallest of Phuket three main tourist beaches, Kata Beach remains picturesque and unspoiled. The beach itself is wide, gracefully curved, and bordered by hills, forest and low-rise structures. The sand is a sparkling white and the waters are perfect for swimming.

A vibrant coral reef lies at the north end and stretches out toward Poo Island, about half a kilometer offshore. There are abundant dining, bar and tour facilities in the locale. The beach is served by local tuk-tuks and taxis and a regular daily bus service to and from Phuket Town.
